Ganesha or Ganapati, the son of Siva and Parvati, is one of the most revered deities. He is know as the Lord of Wisdom and Remove of Obstacles. In other words he is the obstacle to obstacles. Be aware that he can also put obstacles in your way, to help you grow spiritually. However he never gives you more than you can handle. There are many names that accompany his many forms.
